          的RF功率放大器即可應用于,如QAM和QPSK,也可用于非,如:FM、FSK等。針對TDMA市場設計的PA在性能上有所改進,如:自動斜率控制可減小頻譜擴散,自動斜率控制有助于保持Vcc的穩定、降低VCO牽引。自動熱保護功能能夠根據需要臨時減小輸出功率,提供一個堅固、耐用的PA。針對市場推出的PA能夠在城市或遠郊環境下、對于大多數便攜終端要求的輸出功率電平提供更低的電源電流, PA在大多數時間工作在較低的輸出功率狀態。

          對于2.4GHz ISM應用,如:802.11b WLAN、Bluetooth、HomeRF及無繩電話,Maxim可提供低成本、超小尺寸(如UCSP封裝)的功率放大器,這些PA具有模擬或數字的功率控制、閉環功率控制、動態偏置控制、集成檢測器等,并具有較高的效率。

          以下列出了采用硅雙極型工藝設計的RF功率放大器關鍵特性:

          低成本,這一點得益于它較高的管芯產量和簡單的器件制作工藝(與超外差器件相比)

          小尺寸,采用UCSP封裝和較少的外部元件

          無需負偏置電源,不同于大多數GaAs放大器
